Autumn Hues Signal Exciting Changes
It’s official – Autumn has arrived!
I love the changing of the seasons. There is nothing quite as breathtaking as a view across a spacious gorge and seeing the shimmering Aspens in Colorado or the gorgeous Maple trees up north. What do you experience in your area as a signal that the seasons are changing?
Where I live, our humidity and high temperatures begin to lower, and we “locals” really come out to enjoy our beautiful area. As a result, we invest more time with neighbors and friends in those leisurely strolls on the beaches, through the woods. I smell the wood fires and sizzling hotdogs. I can taste the toasted marshmallows . . . and find delight in the stories we conjure up on those chilly nights.
Often, in Autumn, we feel a renewed surge of energy and excitement. Have you noticed that within yourself? This extra surge of energy can guide us to stretch that extra little bit to reach – or exceed – our goals. Are there some areas of your life that have been neglected during the Spring or Summer months? Review your plan (you do have one for this year, right?) and take a few moments to re-strategize. What deserves the most focus from you right now?
What colors do you associate with Autumn?
My autumn palette includes rich ochers and golden saffron, pumpkin orange, cinnabar, rust and brick red. These colors represent my deep appreciation for this time of year. Their richness expresses the excitement and change that I sense, and they rev me up.
You are the artist of your life. You, too, can create the warmth of love and abundance, the excitement of change within your life. What will you create for yourself this season?
Share with us your colorful view of this intoxicating season.
Have a Golden Day!
