Celebrating the Season - SPRING
Spring. It’s the seasonal change when the sun crosses back over the equator and moves into the northern hemisphere, where the daylight hours are stretching longer. The air is still clean and crisp; we hear the birds chirping. New life is springing up everywhere.
New beginnings
It’s a time when many of us are planting dreamscapes in our gardens . . . as we eagerly anticipate the colorful and fragrant bouquets that will soon delight our senses. Planting seeds bring us a promise of new beginnings, new life. What seeds are you planting in your life these days that will produce new beginnings for you?
Cleaning up
Springtime is also a time for cleaning and clearing the clutter. By getting rid of old, stale items, we are making room for the new things coming into our lives. What rooms in your home can benefit from a “spring cleaning” and, in turn, offer a fresh appeal? Are there some “moldy oldies” on your To-Do List? This is a great time to get these taken care of too!
Celebrations
On Tuesday, I will be celebrating the arrival of Spring by indulging in a banana split. It’s a tradition many of us have kept alive while honoring the memory of a dear friend. Even when distance separates some of us, we still find a way to celebrate “together” through our collective memory. What delightfully, delicious ways might you celebrate?
I’ve shared some ideas on the celebration of this new Season. How will you mark the passing of Winter and the beginning of Spring? Take a few moments and be purposeful about how you want the rest of this year to unfold for you. And share your ideas with the rest of us!
Have a Golden Day!
