Be the Conductor of Your Life's Symphony
Music has always been an important part of my life. Each time I hear a particularly moving piece of music, I am reminded that my life is much like that symphonic production. In both situations, it is a musical composition blending melodies, harmonies and energies that produce a wonderful story worth sharing with others. Both scenarios require preparation and practice. And in both cases, I am delighted and surprised as the story unfolds.
Think about the behind-the-scenes groundwork that occurs prior to the debut. Once the music is selected for the symphony, the conductor and the players will all tune up and practice for perfection. I admire those who have invested hours upon hours of training in order to perfect their talents that the rest of us will later enjoy.
What would it be like if you were the conductor of your life and you were the one selecting the music and the players who would support you and your opus?
Well, the good news is . . . you ARE the conductor of your own symphony!
What kind of music do you want to run through your days? Is it restful or energetic? Is it soft or loud? Does it have a driving beat or does it flow like a lullaby?
For most of us, our daily rhythm is a combination of all of those – and more. As conductors, we have the privilege and responsibility to choose the sounds and compositions in our life. This includes choosing those who will enhance our experience by surrounding us with their own excellence.
And like the practiced musicians, we, too, get better at the tunes we play and the melodies that resonate across the years.
As a coach, I am honored to be a part of many lives . . . helping other conductors understand their own power and intuition so that they discover their individual empowerment and learn to compose the beautiful songs for themselves.
So, how will you orchestrate your life? Is it time for you to step up and take center stage? Are there parts of the symphony that need to be refined? Others that have yet to be written? If you would like a supporter in your quest, contact me.
Strike up the band! Let’s play beautiful music together.
And may we have a drum roll please . . .
Have a Golden Day!
Coach Darlene
